The iWH control system

The advanced controller is based on a path control system with an integrated state-of-the-art safety PLC. The path mode enables the specification of a constant and maximum speed on the TCP, which guarantees additional safety when handling the substrate. The controller works internally with the Powerlink real-time bus system, which further increases performance. The supported high-voltage technology offers very dynamic behaviour when using an additional linear motor axis. Among other things, the controller fulfils the latest international standards for industrial robots. The connection of the ergonomic teach pendant with graphical user interface, the functions required for safe set-up operation and handwheel operation is already prepared.
 

Software application

The Advanced Controller software can be displayed on any PC with a VNC viewer. It offers an innovative and intuitive graphical user interface for setting up and managing all functions, as well as a diagnostics and optimisation tool. The special feature of the Advanced hardware and software is that it was developed in-house by isel and therefore the further development and expertise lies entirely with isel.
