Multi-axis controller for servomotors

Controller iPU-EC

The iPU-EC multi-axis controllers are powerful drive controllers that have been specially developed for demanding automation tasks. These compact power units enable the control of up to four linear or rotary axes with brushed or brushless motors and integrate all the necessary components to optimise your automation requirements.

Equipped with a CANopen interface in accordance with the DS301 and DS402 bus protocols, the iPU offers seamless integration into your NC control system. The optional use of the iCC 10 CAN PCI card or a control computer from the iPC series enables complex interpolations such as linear, circular and helical movements as well as precise path machining of all axes.

The iMD20 power output stage guarantees smooth operation thanks to automatic jerk limitation and standstill monitoring. Safety features such as overvoltage and undervoltage protection, overtemperature protection and short-circuit protection ensure maximum reliability. Ease of operation is guaranteed by operating elements integrated into the front of the housing, such as EMERGENCY OFF, START and STOP.
