The Single-axis controller for servomotors

Controller MC 1-20/-40

The MC 1-20/-40 iMD single-axis controllers for isel Linear units are the ideal solution for precise and efficient control of servomotors. These freely programmable compact controllers from the renowned MC 1 series integrate all the necessary components in a compact desktop housing to optimally control an axis. Regardless of whether you want to operate a linear or rotary unit - with the MC 1 controllers you are in control.

The controller is available in two versions:

MC 1-20: Specially developed for controlling brushless EC servomotors with a DC link voltage of 48 V DC. It offers a maximum output power of 500 W and uses a commissioning programme called "AcSetup" for easy setup.

MC 1-40: Designed for brushless EC servomotors with a higher DC link voltage of 310 V DC. The "AcSetup" commissioning programme is also available here to simplify the start-up process.

Both models are characterised by the following common features:

  • A powerful 32-bit high-performance RISC processor with 256 KByte flash memory.
  • Support of a user programme in CNC mode for up to 650 commands, whereby programmes can be processed in both CNC and DNC mode.
  • Programming options via PAL-PC (CNC mode), @-format (CNC mode), ProNC and remote (DNC mode).
  • An LC display with four lines of 20 characters each, which is freely programmable.
  • Additional control signals such as start and stop can be adapted.
  • Connection options for incremental encoders as well as six to eight signal inputs (24 V DC) and eight relay outputs (24 V DC / 700 mA).
  • Safety features in accordance with stop category 0 to EN60204, including emergency stop circuit that can be integrated into higher-level safety circuits via plug connectors.
  • Wide-range mains input for flexible power supply: 110...250 V AC, 50..60 Hz (for MC 1-20) or 250 V AC, 50 Hz (for MC 1-40).

In addition to the controller itself, the scope of delivery also includes mating connectors (I/O, pulse, remote), a serial interface cable (SubD9 - RJ 45), a 230 VAC mains cable, a software CD with PAL PC, as well as detailed operating and programming instructions.
