Drive controller iMD 40 for servomotors
The iMD 40 Drive controller is the ideal solution for anyone looking for a cost-effective and powerful output stage for EC servo motors up to 1 kW. This fully digital controller is powered directly from the mains and is ideal for use in CNC machines and automation technology.
Thanks to its optimised housing, the iMD 40 is perfectly suited for control cabinet installation. The extensive parameterisation options allow flexible adaptation to a wide range of applications, whereby all necessary settings can be made conveniently via user-friendly commissioning software.
The Drive controller offers various user interfaces for integration into customised applications. Particularly noteworthy is the CANopen interface, which enables synchronous point-to-point positioning (S-PTP), speed control, path control (CP - Continuous Path) and time-synchronised multi-axis applications. In addition, a ±10V interface for speed specification and an RS232 interface are available. In conjunction with the CAN bus, a distance sensor can be connected via the ±10V interface in order to realise real-time distance corrections for LASER applications, for example. The Drive controller also supports fast inputs for 3D probes and handwheel operation.
Short controller cycle times ensure optimum behaviour for highly dynamic drives. The iMD 40 is suitable for both rotary and linear direct drives and torque motors. Redundant standstill monitoring minimises the need for external assemblies and makes the operation of your machine convenient and safe.
