Linear unit LES 5 with Spindle drive

The LES 5 Linear unit with Spindle drive is a high-precision solution for demanding applications in automation and production technology. This unit is characterised by its robust design and exceptional manufacturing quality.

The aluminium shaft mounting profile measures W 225 x H 75 mm and has a natural anodised finish, which not only provides an attractive appearance, but also offers corrosion resistance. The clamping surface and the underside of the profile are face-milled to ensure maximum precision during installation.

Equipped with four precision steel shafts with a diameter of Ø 12 h6, made of Cf53 material and a hardness of 60 ± 2 HRC, this Linear unit guarantees durability and reliability in operation. The WS 5/70 aluminium shaft slide or optionally two WS 5/70 type slides (each 70 mm long) can be adjusted without play and have central lubrication to ensure smooth running.

The ball screw drive can be customised with leads of 2.5 / 4 / 5 / 10 / 20 mm, depending on the requirements of your application. The profile is sealed by abrasion-resistant sealing lips that provide protection against external influences.

The end plates are made of high-quality die-cast aluminium, which ensures both stability and an aesthetic appearance. Two limit and reference switches ensure precise control and positioning with an impressive repeat accuracy of ± 0.02 mm.

Finally, sealed angular contact ball bearings are integrated into the drive steel flange to further increase the service life of the unit and minimise maintenance.
